Westario Power would like to remind all residential customers to be proactive and reach out to a Customer Service Representative regarding accounts in arrears.

There are many tools available to assist residential customer facing difficulty paying their past due accounts. The Arrears Management Program, the Low-Income Energy Assistance Program (LEAP); which provides emergency assistance for qualified customers, as well as government programs such as the Ontario Electricity Support Program (OESP) and the Affordability Fund Trust (AFT); where customers can qualify for additional incentives like home insulation and/or Energy Star appliances, are available to qualified residential customers.

It is important to understand, Westario Power uses disconnection for non-payment as a last resort on any account in arrears.
