The system-wide supply mix is the combination of power sources used to generate the electricity consumed in Ontario.

As a regulated distributor of electricity in Ontario, Westario Power Inc. is required by law (under Ontario Reg. 416/99) to disclose to our consumers information regarding the Ontario system-wide electricity supply mix.

The Ontario Energy Board (OEB) directive requires that this information is distributed annually. Under the same regulation, the Ministry of Energy is responsible for providing Ontario’s electricity supply mix data to electricity distributors.

The table below discloses the system-wide electricity supply mix data for 2020, which was published by the OEB on March 22, 2021.
