On Thursday August 30th, 2018, Westario Power held a ground-breaking ceremony on the site where the new substation will be built.

Westario Power Inc. is proud to make a capital investment of $1.5M in the community of Hanover to construct a new 5MVA distribution station to replace the current 3MVA transformer distribution station which has reached its end of useful life. The new distribution station will service the load growth on the southeast corner of the town of Hanover, in the industrial business park and bring much needed additional load capacity to accommodate the economic development in the area.
