Westario Power is preparing for a pending weather event that has the potential for the following conditions:

• Flash freezing
• Significant lake effect snow
• High winds

These conditions can lead to outages due to ice build-up and/or downed trees. Never approach downed wires as they may still be energized. Please continue to monitor when making travel plans. You can find the latest weather alerts here.

In the event of an extended outage or if your vehicle becomes disabled and you are stranded outside, its important to be prepared as much as possible for such an emergency, especially in extreme wintry weather conditions.
